A NUANCED APPROACH TO PHOTOGRAPHY: as a trained adler actor formally educated in architecture and film & television production, I have a unique understanding on how space is occupied during a performance.
PHOTOGRAPHY AS DOCUMENT: if there’s no pictures, it din’t happen. the theatre is a fleeting medium, unlike films which live on forever in the digital space, after closing night the play and the cast’s amazing performance are nothing more than echos in the memories of those who were there. theatre photography makes them part of the historical record and thusly never forgotten.
